Annie MG Schmidt ‘s Viplala is a tiny man who knows how to charm. He himself calls it tinnitus. He often gets into trouble with this. Nella Della, Johannes and Mr. Blom find it a little troublesome, but in the end they live together in a whole series of exciting and funny adventures.

They went to help Viplala and after a while they had the watch.
“You see now,” said Mr. Blom. “Sometimes it’s good when you’re so tiny. Do you know what we do? We’ll put the watch in Miss Adele’s bag, which is on the chair there.»
They dragged the watch to the chair and climbed up. After stuffing the watch in their bag, they quickly slid down to the floor again and fled to their refuge under the walnut cabinet. They had barely gotten there when the ladies entered the room with Klaasje.
